You do not even need any special equipment for this. What happens here is a brilliant usage of one of the important properties of glass. The outer and inner part of glass are known to react to temperature at different rates. So when we heat glass and suddenly cool it, the different rates of expansion and contraction causes a distortion in the glass, which can cause it to break.
Based on these pieces of information, by creating a small circle of crack around a beer bottle and by applying sudden heat and cooling, it is possible to make the bottle snap, similar to the way it is done in the video.
